Wilson Pollock

Wilson Pollock is a painter and former architect. He has taken private painting lessons, instruction at various art associations and studied painting at university level. He paints in watercolors and acrylics. His representational work reflects the two environments in which he lives, namely, the bayside marine oriented region of Jamestown, Rhode Island and the plant, bird and water rich world of Sarasota, Florida. His abstract work is usually landscape related. He has shown in numerous art exhibitions in Pennsylvania, Boston, Rhode Island and Florida including solo shows at the Jamestown Philomenian Library and at the Art Gallery of the Bird Key Yacht Club in Sarasota. He has participated in the Florida Water Color Society’s on line shows in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and his work was recently recognized at the Sarasota Art Center. Many of his paintings are in private collections throughout United States. He is listed with On Center Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts and with Saatchi Art, a leading on line art gallery.
