Lawrence Zinno

In my paintings, I try to show the trajectory of man’s mind unrelated to time and space, in which space is infinite while time is non-existent. My paintings are a structured build-up of line, form and color, which represent abstract surrealism.

I am a third generation Italian American who grew up in New Jersey. I attended Parsons School of Design and New York University. Prior to completing my Bachelor of Arts and Masters degree from William Patterson University, I spent two years serving in the U.S. Army. For 33 years, I taught art at all levels of education. After retiring, I moved to the Catskill Mountains and reignited my passion for painting.
